Strathcona Heritage Reno

This Strathcona house is over 100 years old, and it needed a full gut renovation. We took it right back to the studs while keeping as much of the original character as we could.

The layout was opened up by removing walls between the entry and living room, and the kitchen was completely rebuilt. Every bedroom got custom built-in storage to make better use of the limited space. We refinished the original hardwood floors, renovated both bathrooms, and custom-milled cedar siding to match the existing exterior. We also rebuilt the bridge that connects the house to the street.

There was a lot of work in this one, but it's always satisfying to see an old house brought back to life instead of being torn down.
